چکیده

Abstract. The urban climate literature has highlighted the remarkable prominence of nighttime UHI phenomenon. During effects become more evident due to greater thermal inertia materials used in fabric. It is during night when heat accumulated materials, especially contexts waves, can generate significant health risks. low cooling capacity construction negatively affects comfort and dwellers. However, despite great importance stress heat, study UHIs still underdeveloped. In this context, paper aims determine LST contrasting Landsat's very limited images with daytime ones. example developed refers wave situations summer 2015. case Metropolitan Area Barcelona (35 municipalities, 636 km2, 3.3 million inhabitants).
